The 2013 Willie M Medal: Round 2

Tony Williams and Sandor Earl have jumped to early leads in the Willie M Medal, going back-to-back worst on ground performances. Williams was inept for Canterbury. He rarely put any effort in and threw some insanely stupid passes. Earl was hapless. He dropped the ball with his first touch and should perhaps spend more time learning how to play rugby league than worrying about what colour his hair is.

The Willie M announcements have become one of my highlights of the rugby league week.

Really thought Florence Nightingale deserved the two points behind Soward on Friday night.  He was about as safe as a Cypriot bank deposit.

I woke up in a cold sweat the other night having dreamt that Tony Williams was wearing the green & gold. Thank god I woke up and realised it was just a bad dream….

His teammate Drury Low was lucky not to have received a vote. He has the worst case of stutter-step-itis (SSI) I've ever witnessed. I don't like to bag on young blokes too much but he looks absolutely clueless. Hardly surprising given he was discarded by the 2013 wooden-spooners.

Bit Harsh on Gagai, he did come off pretty injured? As for Souths, interesting that Sutton got 2 pts, but got the fox sports man of the match.

I thought sutton was average too, so maybe it says something about the fox judging panel !

How was the Souths v Cronulla game scored when the article was submitted at 17.00 on the 18/03/2013 (2 hours before the game even started)?

    What the? Nice work Nick!

  6. Avoozl says:

Bit rough giving a point to Minichiello I reckon. I guess it's just one point though so not worth arguing about.

Would have been nice to be able to give more than 3 points to Mannering for that poor display!
