1 UNIT ON BALTIMORE +3.5 AT $1.89 (SPORTSBET)
We’re sure that the Colts are genuinely good in 2014? Good enough to lay more than a field goal to a 3-1 side with a Super Bowl winning coach? Feels too much like people wanting to back the ‘good guys’ in Andrew Luck/ Chuck Pagano against the franchise who covered up the Ray Rice saga for months and shifting the line outwards. And with good cause…. actually….

1 UNIT ON INDIANAPOLIS -3.5 AT $1.95 (CENTREBET)
Much better. Karma, baby.

1 UNIT ON SAN DIEGO -6.5 AT $1.87 (CENTREBET)
The mediocre Jets travelling cross-country to home of both Ron Burgundy and my new fantasy football pin-up boy Phil Rivers? Sign me up to laying less than a touchdown.

1 UNIT ON CINCINNATI -1.0 AT $1.94 (SPORTSBET)
A group of 10 of us, including Nick and yours truly, have had a ‘keeper league’ fantasy NFL competition for 5 or 6 years now. From day one, Tom Brady has carried much of the burden for my team – until we parted company this off-season. Anyway, watching his struggles so far in 2014 on a middle-of-the-road Pats side feels like breaking up with a slightly crazy partner just before they go completely off the rails – you simultaneously feel bad for them and immensely relieved at your decision.

Well done on your first 2 tips but you should have learnt by now not to write off a Tom Brady led Pats side when everyone writes them off especially at home. Haha
