The 2014 Willie M Medal: Round 14

Filed in NRL, Willie M by on June 16, 2014

It is hard to fathom why Jarrod Mullen is constantly presented as a State of Origin prospect at the start of every year only for him to play himself out by the time NSW selection rolls around. Mullen is an average first grader at best. He provides little leadership while his kicking game is far and away the most overrated in the premiership. He has style but little substance and I doubt the Knights can do much with him at pivot.

  1. Mr Rugby says:

U nailed it this week mate. Ennis, Lawrence, Naiqama, Mullen, Tighe horrendous.

  2. Origin fever says:

Chris Lawrence deserves 6 points for his game on friday against souths. I’m not a tigers supporter but his fall from NSW hopeful to his current form is actually sad to a nuetral supporter. My mates and i think his game against souths was possibly the worst match ever played by an individual that we can remember. Really do hope he find his feet ( and hands) again.
