The 2014 Willie M Medal: Round 17

Filed in NRL, Willie M by on July 7, 2014

Sydney Roosters five-eighth James Maloney was well in the mix for the 2012 Willie M Medal and has thrown himself back into the mix this year. Maloney’s form has varied wildly this year but there is no question that he had a stinker against the Sharks as the Chooks went from winning easily to the upset of the decade. Maloney has lost all of the intensity he displayed last year and looks decidedly average.

How did Beau Falloon not get 3 points? He was absolutely awful. 5 penalties conceded. A forward pass from dummy half. 2 falcons while not even watching the ball.
