A great Origin during the week – NSW were brave, QLD too professional and too much class! The Blues will need to make a couple of changes – King needs to go immediately, Young from the bench for a gamebreaker, and a spot for Hayne – probably for Morris. The Maroons will also make changes, for the enhancement of the side though, with Inglis, Hodges, and Shillington due back plus they will only improve with the run!
TLP want to make special mention of Matt Scott, truly the premier prop in the game! When he was on the field QLD dominated, when he was off they did not. Scott turns 26 in July and barring injury will be the No. 1 front-rower in the game for many years to come – a special player on the way up with a heap of improvement!

Cowboys – Line: 5.00 Bet Units Should Thurston and the brilliant Matt Scott back up after SOOI, the Cowboys will win by plenty – if they don't they will still win! The Cowboys are really flying under the radar, not mentioned in the same breath as the Dragons or Storm…yet, but they are rating the house down and they are improving weekly. Another side coming off the bye, the Cowboys out-rate the Roosters in every area of every key indicator. The Chooks got a win last week against a poor Knights side that nearly stole it. The front-row rotation of the Roosters is appalling, and only appeals slightly more this week with Myles pushing up to 10 – TLP has no idea what Riddell and Minichello do for Brian Smith, but he is protecting these two players for no reason. The Cowboys back-row is excellent, plus the bench offers so much impact with Tariq and Ashton Sims going hammer and tong, Bolton close to being back to his best and young rake Segeyaro working nicely with his captain when he gets a run. The Cowboys are building, have a favourable draw over the next few rounds and need to win this game, they will not let this year slip away – Cowboys to cover the the line if both Origin stars back up, or take them Head to Head if they don't. We rate the Cowboys $1.40.
