The Sea Eagles are deserving favourites after rolling past the Cowboys in Week 1 and then beating a Lockyer-less Broncos to make the big one. What we like about the Warriors is their pack/bench and inside own half plays – the Warriors interchange offers so much in the shape of Packer and Matulino, and they are the best dummy-half running team in the comp – especially out of their own red zone. This is where the Sea Eagles can be troubled by the Warriors – last week the Broncos surprisingly lacked the drive in the middle third and played wide, which played at Manly's strengths. This week if the Warriors pack can replicate their game last week against the Storm, plus the impact of strong dummy-half running we still believe the Sea Eagles forwards can be over-powered – the Warriors have enough class in Locke, Johnson and Maloney to get points on the back of a dominant forward pack and field position. Again, the key for the Sea Eagles will be the little half-back Daly Cherry-Evans – this kid is amazing! He has the plays, the defence, the kick, the pass, the chase, the talk, the cool, the patience, and the confidence – Manly can build a premiership force around him and Foran for the many years to come! This will be a very tight affair and the could even come down to a field goal or Golden Point, but we have a real push towards the Warriors getting their 1st premiership – the Warriors at the plus is the play (+5.5 to +6.0)
