Try Line Picks: Round 2

Sea Eagles – Line: 3.0 Bet Units: Glenn Stewart is a huge loss for the Sea Eagles, saying that the Tigers start this game in Gosford as false favourites. The Sea Eagles / Warriors game was by far the highest quality NRL game of Round 1, and the Sea Eagles looked super – the pack were excellent, defensively sound, and the bench (primarily Lussick and Mauro) gave them plenty. Most impressive was the composure and patience of Cherry-Evans, he just plays smart and beyond his years – Foran and Cherry-Evans are an outstanding halves combination!

The rating mismatch in this one is up front – a huge job in front of young Woods and Groat, with Bell providing rotation – Blair will have to play tight for the majority of the night. The Tigers are moody, they play when they want and get lazy too often – Marshall is the key, but Farah and Moltzen need to release him; unfortunately both Farah and Moltzen do tend to like the big play themselves and still have not learnt to really work with Marshall. Tom Humble will be tested like never before at full-back for the Tigers, Cherry-Evans and the chase from his opposite Brett Stewart will be the go to play all night! The Tigers are a high rating and talented team but the toughness, composure and consistency of the Sea Eagles should see them kick off 2012 2-0. Take the Sea Eagles at the line (+2.0 to +2.5).
