Saturday March 22

Rosehill (tips based on a track rating range dead 4 to heavy 10)

Race 3 No. 8 Single Style

Loves the sting out (6 starts for 0-0-0 on good, 7 starts for 3-1-1 on rain-affected), strong run first-up from a terrible gate and tends to improve with racing (6 starts for 0-0-1 first-up, 7 starts for 3-1-0 thereafter), 2 starts for a win at the track/ trip.

Race 6 No. 6 Temple Of Boom

Genuine wet-tracker (11 starts for 5-4-0 on slow or heavy, 32 starts for 5-2-6 on good or dead), nice first-up run when caught wide in the Group 2 WFA Challenge Stakes, beaten only 3.1 and 4.2 lengths by Buffering in Group 1 WFA sprints (both on dead tracks) last Spring.

Race 7 No. 14 El Roca

Four of last 10 George Ryder Stakes winners have been 3yos, his run in the Randwick Guineas was excellent when jumping from 1300 to 1600 metres in just 7 days (looked set to go straight past Dissident but his condition just gave out), 4 starts on rain-affected going for 3-0-0.

Race 9 No. 1 Epingle

On handicap ratings should be giving every horse in this field at least 6 kilos (and most horses more than 10 kilos) but gets in with only 2.5 kilos more than all bar one horse in this field, love rain-affected going (12 starts for 1-3-2 on good, 13 starts for 4-2-4 on dead or worse), beaten only 2 lengths at Group 2 WFA level against the males last prep.
