The Friday Fast Break: Week 10

Cairns v Melbourne (Saturday, Cairns -4.5 to -5)
These two teams just hate me. I'm not sure I have got either right all season. Cairns are 3-2 at home and destroyed the Blaze last week in Cairns so I have a lean on the minus but no bet.

Adelaide v New Zealand (Sunday, Adelaide 0 to -1)
Betting in this one makes no sense, despite Adelaide's good run of form that has seen them win in Perth and beat the Tigers in their last four. But the fact remains they are last in the NBL and have just one home win this year while the Breakers are competition leaders with 8-3 and are 3-2 on the road. Load up on the Breakers at, astonishingly, the plus.

Townsville v Sydney (Sunday, Townsville -4.5 to -5)
The Kings have looked good of late and coming off a win on Thursday night can make it a super weekend. The underdogs have been the way to play this year and I have to take the plus in this.

Wollongong v Perth (Sunday, Wollongong +5 to +5.5)
The Hawks have dropped two straight and are a horrid 1-4 at home this year but Perth have been very inconsistent of late and I'm not sure they are as good as advertised. No play.
