Buy The Rugby League Almanac
Making The Nut is pleased to endorse a fantastic new rugby league book: The Rugby League Almanac
Written by fans for fans, The Rugby League Almanac follows in the tradition of The Footy Almanac, the very popular book that has been selling well for five years.
Edited by Nick Tedeschi and John Harms, and featuring contributions from the entire Making The Nut team, the book covers every game of the 2012 season and features some wonderful essays from Roy Masters, actor William McInnes, Nick Tedeschi and John Harms.
The book not only gives a breakdown of every game but the experience of every game, In the first edition of The Rugby League Almanac, we have a writer trying to listen to a call in Cambodia, another finding himself back in his old home town for Friday night footy and another streaming online rom Dublin. The book has some absolute gems – funny, insightful, interesting, unique. Every game is covered from the perspective of a lover of rugby league.
It makes a wonderful purchase and would be an ideal stocking filler for Christmas. For only $35 (including shipping), you have a last memory of an unforgettable season.

I just bought a copy of The Rugby League Almanac and can confirm that it's a bloody good read and a total bargain at the price.
Hey Nick,
Any plans for this to go digital? This looks like something I’d impulse buy with one click on Amazon for $10.
You know it’s nearly 2013 when on the rare occasion you read a paper book you try to highlight a word to obtain its definition or check out the wiki entry or who knows where it leads you.
Analogue is to Shakespeare as digital is to the universe. Get into it.
At the moment it is something we are looking into for next season.
Cheers
Nick
