Townsville v Cairns (Friday, Townsville -5.5)
I love the North Queensland derby and this again shapes as being another torrid affair. These two have played three times this year with the home team winning on each occasion. I expect a similar scenario here though the line is spot on

.Cairns v Melbourne (Saturday, Cairns -4.5)
The Tigers ended a six-game losing streak with a win at home over Adelaide. That only confuses this even more against a Taipans side who have put two together and built a 7-3 record at home, but playing the second game in two nights. No play.

Perth v Sydney (Sunday, Perth -13.5)
I hate betting in one-sided games like this. Perth can cover if they want to but who knows how interested they’ll be. No bet. Perth wins.

Gold Coast v Townsville (Sunday, Gold Coast -5.5)
The Blaze are the team to ride at the moment. They have won five straight and are 7-3 at home. These two have split the two games so far but for mine, the Blaze are an elite team while the Crocs are just very good. Take the minus.
