Whether its racing, soccer or rugby, The Guru was all over it!!  We are in hot form, and with the racing carnivals heating up and the footy codes starting it is the right time to be jumping on our bandwagon.

Anyway to this week’s bumper edition, lets find some winnersandremember the guru’s motto…Punt big and Punt often!

Racing
The Guru has been in great form and has found some great priced winners this week on tricky cards in both major states.

Caulfield r5noMawingo @ $3.5– huge return first up behind All Too Hard, he is one of the best WFA horses in the country. He's our best of the weekend!!!
Caulfield r7no4 The Bowler each way @ $21.00 / $5.50 – was well supported on debut and went well behind Kuroshio, blinkers go on. Each way value in a tough race.
Caulfieldr8no2 Woorim each way @ $17.00 / $5.00 – he is one from one at the track and distance and three from three at 1100m, he is class and great value.
Rosehill r6no4 Glencadam Gold @ $3.30 – The Guru declared he couldn't stay and was proven correct last start. Has high speed and will show it here, he wins.

Soccer
The Guru was in great form again over the weekend and is excited to get back into the Premier League as it resumes after the FA Cup weekend. This is a tough round of fixtures in the A-League but The Guru has you covered with a few sweeteners in the UK thrown in for good measure.

Tip
Jets over Brisbane Roar @ $2.50
Mariners draw with Victory @ $3.50
Norwich draw withEverton @ $3.30
Tottenham over West Ham @ $2.20

Cricket
The Aussies are off to India for a tough tour. The Guru doesn’t think Australia can win the series, and just quietly we are a good judge!! We don’t bowl spin very well nor do we play spin very well. The 2nd one is the big sticking point. Lyon is tidy and our quicks will keep us in it, however, our batting stinks. Watson must open and get us moving for us to be any chance.

Australia’s Leading Runscorer – With our inexperienced batting line up, The Guru thinks Michael Clarke is a good thing to top the runscorers @ $2.87

India’s Leading Runscorer – Pujara is the new Dravid. His defence is as tight as they come, will bat a long time, our guys need to stick to the plan @ $4.00

Tip
India to win series @ $1.66
India 2-0 @ $7.50
India 2-1 @ $5.00

Super Rugby
With the competition kicking off properly this weekend there are seven matches across the three countries. The initial rounds of Super Rugby are hard to get a handle on and for this reason, bet with caution. Here are a couple of The Guru’s thoughts.
The Highlanders always start the season well and are a tough nut to crack at home. The Chiefs are missing $BW and might be suffering the champions hangover while the Brumbies were ultra-impressive as expected and beat the Reds easily.
While it is away from home and the Rebels have improved marginally, I can't see the Brumbies giving up many points. The Rebels' weak pack will be exposed, and expect to see the Brumbies have a glut of ball, The Guru just hopes they use it.

Tip
Highlanders –1 @ $1.90 to beat the Chiefs
Brumbies -5.5 @ $1.90 to beat the Rebels

Rugby League
While The Guru would love to give predictions on the Charity Shield and Foundation Cup, it’s tough… with extended benches this is a glorified trial.

The game I’m interested in is the World Club challenge and my spies tell me the Storm have taken this very seriously and are there to win. If they decide to win something they aren’t often wrong!! They will win this but not by much.

Tip
Storm 1-12 @ $2.85

GURU of the week
Storm 1-12 @ $2.85

GURU’s Multi of the week
Brumbies HD2HD @ $1.40 + Hurricanes HD2HD@ $1.40 + Storm v Leeds HD2HD @ $1.57 + Sharks v CheetahsHD2HD @ $1.40 = $4.30

GURU’s Racing all up
Caulfield r5no3 Mawingoto win @ $3.50 + Rosehill r6no4 Glencadam Gold @ $3.30 = $11.55
