Bulldogs – Head to Head: 5.00 Bet Units: Probably the match of the round, the Bulldogs were impressive against a willing Roosters, the Rabbitohs the same against a poor Raiders team that hung around! The Bulldogs are warming to the task and the defence is the key; in the last 5 weeks they have missed the least tackles of any other team and well down on errors in the same period compared to their YTD average. The backs are rating exceptionally well, in particular young Reynolds, centres Morris and Wright and the brilliant Barba. The pack is a quality one and playing football in the middle-third, this style has the potential to open the Rabbitohs up as they have big men with poor lateral movement. The Rabbitohs are also one of the big improvers under a new coach; they are settled in the halves and look sound here, the brilliance of Luke and Inglis are winning them games, Burgess and Taylor are strong – both of these sides will be in the Top 8 playing finals footy. The key to the Bulldogs rating a win here is there edge running; they should work over Burgess, Sutton, Reynolds and Taylor early with Kasiano, Pritchard and Halatau used later in the sets at a retreating defence. It is a nice game plan that should unlock this defence – Eastwood is out, with Stagg starting – a slight bump to the middle-third, but expect Stagg to play wider. A great rating match, with the Bulldogs out rating in most key areas albeit slightly – the market has this the wrong way. Take the Bulldogs Head to Head
