The Panthers little men are going great – in particular Coote and Kingston; winger Mansour could be the find of the year if his form stacks up – he has ran 204m (Sea Eagles), 108m (Cowboys), 227m (Dragons), and 117m (Storm) in his 4 NRL games! The Panthers take on the inconsistent Warriors side that is struggling under a new coach, especially in defence and discipline in defence; the Warriors miss more tackles than any other team in the NRL, in the last 4 matches they have missed 37 tackles on average with no sign of improvement. The Warriors seem to have gone backwards in development, wanting to only play when they are attacking – Cleary will be right up for a win here and will have the right game plan to trouble his old side. The Warriors have boom centre Konrad Hurrell at their disposal and you can expect he will pick up at least a try running at average defender Tighe all night. The Warriors played well last week, but backing it up is an issue – Johnson is still struggling to strike a combination with his inside and outside men; brilliant as an individual he needs years and maturity to steer a NRL side around effectively. The line is a big one in this game and you would expect it to tighten closer to Monday night, jump on the Panthers at the plus, especially +6.0 or better (+6.0 to +6.5)
