Sharks – Line: 5.00 Bet Units: Enjoying the Sharks at the moment…we are, having caught them the last two weeks! They rate very well in this game and are specials to beat a Raiders side backing up from Monday night. The appealing areas of the Sharks are the pack of Snowden, Douglas, Bukuya, Smith and Gallen – throw in Tupou and the resurgent, and impactful, Tagatese the Sharks now have the firepower to take on any side. The other area is their excellent spine – young, confident and patient – Townsend is playing beyond his years, Graham is looking more seasoned every game, Gardner is electrifying, and the ''old veteran'' Morris is composed and reliable at dummy-half! Yes, the Sharks have not played the testing material recently but they can only beat who they are playing and this week they are not playing a great football side. The Raiders have big problems on their left edge defence (see Sam Williams), suffer a massive blow in Leahroyd Lahrs out with a bicep injury, have the worst rating spine in the NRL and find it tough to get he job done away from home. Over the last month of NRL the Sharks have been rating as strong as any side, whereas the Raiders are only rating better than the hopeless Roosters. Take the Sharks to cover the line (-2.5 to -3.5)
