Dragons – Line: 5.00 Bet Units: Like we forgave the Cowboys in Round 1 we can forgive the Dragons for their Round 2 performance against the Dogs. The methodical Dragons were excellent against a Tigers side looking disinterested and soft in the middle. The Sea Eagles back up after a tough Monday night game in which the where lucky to get close, they were out-muscled and out-played. They lose Williams, still have no Glenn Stewart or Steve Matai, and take on the Dragons at WIN Jubilee – the Sea Eagles have a terrible recent record against the Dragons (84-16 is the combined points of the last 3 games played between the sides). The Dragons out-rate the Sea Eagles in all areas in this one, with the front-row rotation very much skewed to the Dragons with the excellent Trent Merrin offering so much coming from the bench. Morris at fullback will solve the this problem for Steve Price; Morris has enough skills and a super running game to make this a successful transition – Stanley is a long term centre for the Dragons and very good in defence. Cooper is back this week also, and his presence cannot be denied – the inclusion of Cameron King to rotate with Rein will enhance this side as both players will be long term and top shelf NRL first graders. The Dragons can win this one comfortably and should be able to keep the Sea Eagles pack at bay, the dynamic and brilliant Daly Cherry-Evans and Foran will need to be magicians as well to win away from Brookvale this weekend. Dragons to cover a skinny line (-2.0 to -2.5)
